If you’ve been wondering where we stand as a company, we stand without a doubt alongside our brothers and sisters FIGHTING for the end of this structured racism and police brutality. We are Black woman-owned and we take these issues very seriously.
What happened to George Floyd was outrage and we will not stand for this or allow it to happen to anyone else.
I’m sure it hit closer to home this time. When Black Americans watched the video of George Floyd we couldn’t help but see ourselves.
I want to remind you that it is okay to not be okay during this time and that we are never alone in our struggles. In fact, there is a community of people waiting to help us walk through these tough times like https://www.blackmentalwellness.com.
I know we’re all tired but we must continue to fight. We’ve been through a lot as a community within this last week or so. Don’t allow anyone to tell you how you should feel. Allow yourself to feel your true feelings.
Unplug for a while if you need to or do whatever it takes to make sure you are taking care of your mental health. We are indeed becoming apart of history but the only way to truly help your community is to make sure you take care of yourself first. Do what's best for you.
